Barwon Timber’s Cypress pine posts are Australian-grown and are naturally resistant to rot and termites. These posts are stress graded to F7 and are naturally durable for in-ground use. Cypress posts are commonly used for fencing posts, gate posts, pergolas and gazebos.

No, despite cypress pine having similar characteristics to hardwood, it is a softwood. Although it has the strength to be a great material for fence posts, beams for pergolas, etc. It’s also easy enough to be worked on with both hand and power tools.
