Barwon Timber, Bar-Truss and Drysdale Timber and Hardware support a number of local community groups through donations, fundraising, engagement, time and participation in community events.

Our team values the contribution we make to local community groups and being involved in the selection of who we engage with.

Here are some of our recent community and environmental contributions.

AUGUST, 2023

Greening the Future: Barwon Timber's Tree Planting Adventure in Balliang

On Sunday, August 27th, a team from Barwon Timber went back out to Balliang to plant 500 more trees. Once again, we partnered with 15 Trees and the Balliang Landcare Group to plant Koala habitat trees.

AUGUST, 2022

Foundation 61

After several years of planning, site works have started on Foundation 61's 'House of Hope'. Foundation 61 is a not-for-profit community-based charity. For many years they have provided a live-in community in Mount Duneed which offers drug and alcohol rehabilitation for up to 15 men at a time.

JULY, 2022

Barwon Timber partners with 15 Trees

Barwon Timber partnered with 15 Trees to plant 500 trees on the property of Brisbane Ranges Landcare members James and Sue.

MARCH, 2022

Lazarus Community Centre

Barwon Timber raised $2,025 through the sale of Barwon Timber drink bottles. 100% of proceeds were donated to Lazarus Community Centre in Geelong.

SEPTEMBER, 2021

Geelong Mums Donation

Barwon Timber recently donated $500 to a local charity organisation, Geelong Mums.
